Automatically link keywords within your blog entries to any location you want using the WordPress Auto Link plugin[1] (free).
A very useful tool indeed, thank you for the reminder Linda.
[1]: Unfortunately, the provider of the aLinks plugin has gone offline, so the link was removed from the post. If I find another copy on my hard drive, I’ll re-post it for download.

Teli,
I find myself coming back to your blog again and again as it offer such nifty information.
Regarding the Headzoo Auto Link plugin, do you know if there is a way to hide/cloak affiliate links. No doubt it’s a great plugin but it leaves affiliate links in the open for all to see and I was wondering if you knew of a way to intergrate this feature (cloaking affiliate links) with headzoo.

Hello again Summer,
.
I’m glad you keep finding such nifty information here
Regarding the Auto Link plugin, I know that you can add bits of javascript to each of the links, so you can probably add a bit of javascript cloaking code to each link through that method.
The only downside to this is people with javascript disabled will be able to see the link location, and those using Firefox need only right click on a link to see it’s true location.

Awesome blog. Unfortunately the download link doesn’t work. Can you put this one up again please.

headzoo.com is dead, alinks is dead because the headzoo site is down. I really need this plugin to work, but it’s impossible. WP 2.6.3 refuses to activate it because it causes a fatal error too.
I really wish someone could get hold of Steve to find out what’s going on.
