As a result of the Buy Blog Comments fiasco, more and more good bloggers, including Wendy Piersall, are re-enabling the nofollow attribute on their comment links. Personally, since I monitor this blog’s comments like a hawk (it’s my baby, after all), I’ll leave the nofollow attribute deactivated, but it truly is a shame that this company has pushed these bloggers to this level.

I agree with you, I’ve recently placed the dofollow plugin on my WordPress blog and intend to keep it there. Considering that my blog is so new, I hope that removing nofollow will be one more incentive to comment. I don’t think that I can afford to take that off at the moment, and I’m glad you’re not either. If you monitor your comments and only add the ones you feel should be added, then it’s not going to be much of an issue anyway.
