Rather than release WP 2.5 all at once, ready for prime time, WP has released a release candidate. This isn’t unusual, but it’s important that you understand what a release candidate is before you decide to upgrade your production site — basically, it’s a fancy way of saying that it’s still in Beta, but this release may be the one. Software producers often go through 2 or 3 release candidates before they find the one. That means there may still be a few bugs to hammer out and final touches to be added before the actual final release. But, if you’re anxious to get your hands on the new release of WP 2.5, then I suggest heading over to the development blog and downloading it. (Make sure to test it in an isolated environment first.)

I think ill wait!
