Because the name of the game is consolidation, I’m placing the WordPress Diva website (actually, websites: wordpressdiva.com and wordpressqueen.com redirect to wpdiva.com) and themes up for sale.
While getting myself reorganized, it occurred to me that I have a number of web properties that have become dormant, but have amazing potential. Unfortunately, these sites aren’t passive properties and I don’t have the time necessary to invest in their continued growth.
Going forward, I had to be completely honest with myself and make the tough decisions. Rather than letting them completely waste away (as I have been), it would be best to send them to a good home where they can flourish.
WP Diva, though I had some big plans for the site, made the list. As much as I enjoy working on new WordPress themes (and plugins) as a creative release, it’s no longer feasible.
I’ve already prepared and issued a short press release announcing the WordPress Diva properties are on the market and I also plan to update the WP Diva website with some additional information about traffic stats and prepare a formal memorandum of sale.
Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll continue to clean out my web properties portfolio and sell off some sites. I’ll also be reporting about my experiences here for anyone else who’s thinking about selling their web property.
(If you’re interested in purchasing the WordPress Diva property, please don’t use the contact form here; I’ve set up a special email address in order to keep everything organized. Send your inquiry or question to sale AT wpdiva DOT com – make sure to replace AT with @ and DOT with a period.)
